- PH is a measure of the hydrogen potential (concentration of H + ions) of water.

- Its value is between 0 and 14, where 0 represents strong acid, 7 represents neutral and 14 represents alkaline.

- The mineralogical quality of the water, climate, water catchment and number of bathers cause the pH to change continuously and naturally.
